PhySaaS
Available through IT Raven

PhySaaS sells physical security as a managed service: cameras, door access, alarms and sensors on one cloud platform, for a monthly fee. The name is short for physical security as a service.
The difference from a traditional installer is who does the work. In the usual model you pay for hardware up front, find an installer, configure the system and fix it when it breaks. PhySaaS bills the hardware monthly, ships it configured, organizes the site survey, manages the installation and then runs the system as an extension of your security team. When a device fails, it states that it sends a technician at no charge and replaces the unit overnight.
The platform underneath is Verkada's, and PhySaaS reports certified Verkada engineers on its staff. Everything is reached from a web portal or a phone app, with no recorder box on site.
Best for
- Organizations with many locations that run a different security system at each one and want a single view.
- Buyers replacing an aging camera and recorder setup that cannot be reached remotely.
- Companies that want security spending as a monthly operating cost instead of a capital purchase.
- Schools dealing with vaping, which need air sensors tied to cameras.
- Hotels and other workplaces where staff work alone and need a panic button that reports where they are.
- Restaurants and food businesses that must watch refrigerator temperatures as well as doors.
- Multi-tenant buildings that need door access, cameras and visitor handling across shared spaces.
What they offer
Physical Security. Everything PhySaaS documents falls under this heading.
- Cameras. Cloud-managed cameras that store video on the device, so no separate recorder is needed. Archived clips are kept in cloud storage.
- Door access and intercoms. Controllers for one, four or sixteen doors, readers, and wireless locks from Schlage and Assa Abloy.
- Alarms. Professional monitoring around the clock, with cellular backup.
- Sensors. Air quality, temperature, humidity, noise and motion. A vape index combines several readings into one score for schools. Wireless sensors watch refrigerators and food storage.
- Panic buttons. Worn or wall mounted. A press can lock doors, sound an alarm and pull up the nearest cameras. A second product line for hotels reports the room number of the staff member who pressed it.
- Visitor management. Sign-in, screening and guest tracking inside the same platform.
- Vehicles and equipment. Dash cameras for fleets and GPS trackers for trailers and equipment.
This store files PhySaaS under Managed Security and Managed IT. The documents available for this page describe no cyber security or IT management service, so ask before assuming one.

Proof
The examples below are ones PhySaaS published without naming the customer.
A non-profit with 26 locations. It had been managing more than 50 separate security apps and platforms, with nothing uniform from site to site. PhySaaS rolled out one platform, highest priority locations first, with each branch manager seeing only their own site.
A hotel chain with properties in several major cities. It replaced an aging camera system that was hard to manage remotely across properties.
A service company with 14 locations. Employees on overnight shifts felt unsafe in the parking lots. PhySaaS installed cameras, door readers and alarm monitoring.
A customer without the capital for a full system. PhySaaS installed door access first and planned to replace five cameras each quarter until the work was done.
These accounts are PhySaaS's own. Its overview also cites a 10 year manufacturer's warranty on equipment.
Good to know
- The hardware and the platform are Verkada's. You are buying PhySaaS's design, installation and management on top of another company's product, so ask what happens to the equipment and the video if you leave.
- PhySaaS lists terms of three, five and ten years. Ask what it costs to end one early.
- It states it can connect to existing cameras, sensors and door controllers, so a full replacement on day one is not the only route.
- Installation is described as nationwide in the United States. The catalog also lists Canada and Puerto Rico, which the documents do not mention.
How buying works
The store is the easy part. Staying on the account is the job.
Anyone can show you logos. The reason to buy here is what happens on install night, and on the ticket you open nine months later.
- 01
Build your quote list
Add services and companies as you shop. No form stands between you and the shelf.
- 02
We bring back real options
A person shops the bench against your addresses, then walks you through what fits and what does not.
- 03
We handle the order and install
Paperwork, site survey, install dates, cutover night. You get one thread, not five vendors.
- 04
We stay on your account
Same team for moves, adds, tickets and the next renewal. That is the part everyone else drops.
