Avertium is a managed security provider that watches customer environments around the clock and runs their compliance programs. Its 2025 overview lists its security operations centers, which it calls Cyber Fusion Centers, in Arizona, Tennessee and Guadalajara.
Its method has three steps it repeats: assess the environment, design the security architecture, then protect it as an ongoing service. Much of what it sells is built on Microsoft's security tools. It says it is a certified Microsoft partner, and its catalog runs from managed Sentinel and Defender to Purview and Intune projects and a readiness check before turning on Copilot for Security. For companies that are not on Microsoft's stack, it runs the same detection service on SentinelOne.
Best for
- Companies in healthcare, manufacturing, retail or finance with fewer than 3,500 employees and a thin security team, which is Avertium's stated target for managed Sentinel.
- Organizations already paying for Microsoft E5 security tools that want them tuned and watched rather than adding more vendors.
- Merchants and agencies handling card data that need PCI DSS compliance kept up all year.
- Healthcare organizations that need a HIPAA risk assessment or HITRUST certification.
- Companies with one security or compliance project to get done and no wish to hire for it.
What they offer
Managed Security. Fusion MXDR, a detection and response service run from its Cyber Fusion Centers on either Microsoft Sentinel and Defender or SentinelOne, with monitoring, alerting, threat analysis and attack disruption at any hour through a customer portal. Managed SIEM for Microsoft Sentinel, where Avertium configures, tunes and operates Sentinel for you with a named project manager, service delivery manager and threat response team. MDR for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Managed PCI, a year-round program across all 12 PCI DSS requirements. GRC as a Service, a compliance program run through Avertium's own portal with a control catalog and a risk register. HITRUST assessment support at the e1, i1 and r2 levels. Project work on Microsoft Purview and Intune, a three-week security baseline assessment of Azure and Microsoft 365, a Copilot for Security readiness assessment, a tool consolidation assessment, and consultants on a project basis.
The catalog also lists Avertium under Cloud and IaaS. Within its Azure professional services, two line items touch infrastructure: migration to Azure infrastructure and platform services, and virtual desktops. The documents describe no cloud hosting of its own.

Proof
- Avertium says more than 1,200 mid-market and enterprise organizations across 15 industries use it.
- Its MDR service commits to detecting, triaging and responding to indicators of compromise within 15 minutes, with human response at any hour.
- Its PCI practice is staffed by Qualified Security Assessor and Secure Software Assessor certified experts, and it acts as an external assessor for HITRUST certification.
- Its compliance staff hold more than 400 certifications, and named security staff hold Microsoft security operations, Azure security engineer and Microsoft 365 security certifications.
- The Copilot for Security readiness assessment takes no more than four weeks and needs minimal access to your systems.
These are Avertium's own statements. Its customer stories were not usable here: one names the customer and the other was not cleared for reading.
Good to know
- The detection services run on Microsoft or SentinelOne technology. Avertium operates it. Ask which platform is proposed and who holds the licenses.
- Consulting is sold in 40-hour increments as project work, not as a hire.
- Purview comes as two separate engagements in sequence: a starter kit for organizations new to it, and a maturity service only for customers who already hold E5 licenses. Intune work comes either phased, assessment then implementation, or as one Fast Track contract if you have already started.
- At the end of the tool consolidation assessment, Avertium removes the customer data it stored unless you tell it otherwise.
- The 1,200 customer figure first appears in 2020 collateral and recurs unchanged in later documents. Ask for a current number. The documents here run from 2020 to 2025.

How buying works
The store is the easy part. Staying on the account is the job.
Anyone can show you logos. The reason to buy here is what happens on install night, and on the ticket you open nine months later.
- 01
Build your quote list
Add services and companies as you shop. No form stands between you and the shelf.
- 02
We bring back real options
A person shops the bench against your addresses, then walks you through what fits and what does not.
- 03
We handle the order and install
Paperwork, site survey, install dates, cutover night. You get one thread, not five vendors.
- 04
We stay on your account
Same team for moves, adds, tickets and the next renewal. That is the part everyone else drops.
