Convergia is a Pan-American telecom and cloud provider that runs a private network across Canada, the United States, Latin America and into Europe. The company's reach is its defining fact: it describes one of the more extensive privately held networks in the world, built on IP, MPLS and fiber with more than 150 points of presence and a redundant ring design. Where it does not own the last mile, it combines its own backbone with underlying carriers, so a business with sites in several countries can buy connectivity, voice and cloud under one relationship and be billed locally in each country's currency. A strategic hub in Miami connects the United States to Latin America and Europe over subsea cable. Convergia states more than 25 years in the industry.
Best for
- Multinational or multi-country businesses across Canada, the United States and Latin America that want connectivity, voice and cloud from one provider, with local billing in each country's currency.
- Companies moving workloads to public cloud that want a private, dedicated link to Azure, AWS, Google, Oracle or SAP rather than routing over the open internet.
- Organizations standardizing phone systems across borders on hosted voice, Microsoft Teams calling or SIP trunking.
- Sites in remote parts of the Americas that need a connection where wired networks do not reach.
A single-site business with no cross-border needs gains less from Convergia, whose design is built around spanning countries.
What they offer
Business Connectivity. A backbone using IP, MPLS and DWDM with local access and local SIP services, carrying a stated availability goal of 99.995 percent on its redundant ring. Local billing consolidates services in multiple countries onto one invoice in the currency each site uses.
Cloud and IaaS. A hybrid cloud built on VMware from Convergia's own data centers, with managed and professional services and a portal to run the infrastructure. CxC Flex sets up connections to the major clouds in two forms: a direct private link for the lowest latency, or an encrypted connection over the internet for faster, lower-cost deployment. Microsoft 365 backup is available.
Cloud Phone Systems. Hosted voice in several forms, including a 3CX-based phone system, Webex Calling, Operator Connect for Microsoft Teams, SIP trunking, IP phones and cloud fax.
SD-WAN and SASE and Wireless and IoT. Managed routers for branch connectivity and resale of Starlink for locations that fixed lines do not serve.

Good to know
- Convergia does not own every mile of the network it sells. It combines its own privately held backbone with underlying carriers to reach across the Americas and to Europe, which is how it covers so many countries.
- The 99.995 percent availability figure is Convergia's own stated goal, not a guarantee. Confirm the commitment written into any service agreement.
- French-language sales and technical support are available, alongside coverage in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
- Figures here are the company's own material.

How buying works
The store is the easy part. Staying on the account is the job.
Anyone can show you logos. The reason to buy here is what happens on install night, and on the ticket you open nine months later.
- 01
Build your quote list
Add services and companies as you shop. No form stands between you and the shelf.
- 02
We bring back real options
A person shops the bench against your addresses, then walks you through what fits and what does not.
- 03
We handle the order and install
Paperwork, site survey, install dates, cutover night. You get one thread, not five vendors.
- 04
We stay on your account
Same team for moves, adds, tickets and the next renewal. That is the part everyone else drops.
