Managed Solution is a managed IT services provider based in San Diego that runs day-to-day technology for businesses. Microsoft's cloud is at the center of most of its work. It was founded in 2002.
It began by serving small and mid-sized businesses and says it specializes in healthcare, biotech and finance, where compliance shapes every IT decision. It holds three Microsoft Solution Partner designations, for security, modern work and Azure infrastructure, and its projects tend to be Microsoft projects: moving a company to Microsoft 365, to Azure, or to virtual desktops.
Best for
- Organizations in heavily regulated fields, healthcare, biotech and finance in particular.
- Companies that failed or fear an audit and lack the staff to fix the causes while keeping daily IT running.
- Businesses going through a merger that must combine user accounts, systems and file stores.
- Growing companies whose mix of systems has become hard for a small IT team to manage.
- Firms planning a move to Microsoft 365 or Azure that want an assessment and a plan first.
What they offer
Managed IT. Help desk staffed in the United States at all hours, systems and device management, monitoring and reporting, in Silver, Gold and Platinum support levels. Professional services projects come with certified project managers, weekly meetings and a review at the close.
Cloud and IaaS. Cloud consultation and migration, Microsoft 365 migration, and an Azure assessment that sizes and costs your current servers before a move. Its monitoring uses the LogicMonitor platform.
Desktop as a Service. Azure Virtual Desktop, which delivers Windows desktops and applications to Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices.
Managed Security. Endpoint security management built on SentinelOne, alongside systems and network security in its managed plans.
The catalog also lists Managed Solution under Cloud Phone Systems. The documents available for this page do not describe a phone service.

Coverage
- US (Nationwide)
Coverage is a starting point. We check every address before we quote it.
Proof
- Its 2024 sheet cites a customer satisfaction score of 95.4 for its help desk.
- The same sheet lists the CRN Triple Crown and CRN Solution Provider 500 awards for 2023.
Its overview brochure tells three customer stories without names.
A financial services firm. It failed a regulatory compliance audit, and its IT manager had no capacity for both daily operations and a migration. Managed Solution moved it to Microsoft 365 with its top level of support, and the firm met its requirements.
A healthcare organization in a merger. It needed to manage users and systems across the combined company and move information securely. Managed Solution rebuilt its directory and designed its certificate system.
A fast-growing biotech company. Its IT department could not keep a patchwork of systems manageable. Managed Solution moved more than 2,500 users in over 16 locations to Microsoft 365 and automated software updates to their devices.
These accounts are Managed Solution's own.
Good to know
- The undated documents and the 2024 sheets give slightly different figures for engineer experience and satisfaction scores. The 2024 sheets are the ones to trust.
- Microsoft partner labels vary between documents. Ask for the current designations.
- A high-level Azure assessment needs at least a week of measurement before it can rate its own confidence.
- Migrations of shared file sites start with an assessment phase that produces the plan.

How buying works
The store is the easy part. Staying on the account is the job.
Anyone can show you logos. The reason to buy here is what happens on install night, and on the ticket you open nine months later.
- 01
Build your quote list
Add services and companies as you shop. No form stands between you and the shelf.
- 02
We bring back real options
A person shops the bench against your addresses, then walks you through what fits and what does not.
- 03
We handle the order and install
Paperwork, site survey, install dates, cutover night. You get one thread, not five vendors.
- 04
We stay on your account
Same team for moves, adds, tickets and the next renewal. That is the part everyone else drops.
