A Fortune 500 global bank governing electronic communications in Zoom. Regulators required the bank to capture and supervise written electronic communications, and much of what happens in a Zoom meeting, the chat, polling, Q&A, whiteboard and transcript, counts. Rather than record all the audio and video it did not need, the bank had simply turned those features off, which frustrated staff and undercut its investment in the platform. Theta Lake selectively captured the in-meeting chat, polling and Q&A and routed them for compliance review. The case study reports the bank could turn the collaboration features back on while meeting its recordkeeping obligations.
