In OTC derivatives, a fax is a preferred way to document that a contract was executed or a transaction processed, because it is standardized, legally binding and traceable through a transmission report. The bank needed to digitize that fax communication while keeping every transmission compliant and verifiable under strict data-protection rules. Retarus moved the bank onto its cloud fax service.
