Coeo Solutions is a managed voice and network provider that runs business phone systems, contact center and the wide-area network as one service. It positions itself around a white-glove model: dedicated people who design the architecture, implement it, then manage and maintain it, backed by around-the-clock US-based support. The work spans two areas that usually come from different vendors, voice and network, which lets a company modernize an aging phone system and its connectivity under one relationship. It also does something narrower and unusual, managing the reputation of a company's phone numbers so legitimate calls are not blocked or labeled as spam. Coeo was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois. For a buyer, it is one managed provider for phones, contact center and the network.

Best for

  • Companies modernizing an aging phone system that want the voice platform and the network under one managed provider.
  • Multi-site organizations that want a hands-on, US-based team to design, implement and maintain the whole setup rather than self-serving.
  • Businesses whose outbound calls are being mislabeled as spam or scam likely, hurting the rate at which customers answer.
  • Organizations consolidating many telecom vendors and invoices into a single relationship.

A company that only needs one simple phone line and no ongoing management will find Coeo's managed, multi-service model more than it requires.

What they offer

Cloud Phone Systems. Cloud voice and unified communications, calling for Microsoft Teams through both Direct Routing and Operator Connect, SIP trunking, and a next-generation replacement for the analog POTS lines that carriers are retiring.

Contact Center. A cloud contact center for routing and handling customer calls, delivered and managed alongside the phone system.

SD-WAN and SASE. Managed SD-WAN and SASE for reliable, secure connectivity across sites and remote users.

Business Connectivity. Bandwidth aggregation that combines circuits for more capacity and resilience.

Reputation Management. Phone number reputation management that works to keep a company's outbound numbers from being blocked or flagged as spam, so more legitimate calls get answered.

Proof

This story comes from Coeo's own published, anonymized case study.

A large not-for-profit health system with more than 70,000 employees, 27 hospitals and 500 sites serving nearly three million patients a year. Formed by a merger, it suffered telephony downtime that stopped patients from scheduling appointments, plus inefficiencies and the burden of managing many providers and invoices. Coeo replaced the legacy systems with SIP trunking and added a second data center in another region for redundancy. The case study reports the system now runs without telephony downtime and that staff communicate more effectively, including faster handling of pre-certifications and billing.

Good to know

  • Coeo's value is heavily in the managed, white-glove delivery. Ask what its team owns through design, implementation and ongoing support.
  • The phone number reputation service is a specific offering worth asking about if your outbound calling is being hurt by spam labeling.
  • Product names and figures here are the company's own material.

How buying works

The store is the easy part. Staying on the account is the job.

Anyone can show you logos. The reason to buy here is what happens on install night, and on the ticket you open nine months later.

  1. 01

    Build your quote list

Add services and companies as you shop. No form stands between you and the shelf.

  2. 02

    We bring back real options

A person shops the bench against your addresses, then walks you through what fits and what does not.

  3. 03

We handle the order and install

Paperwork, site survey, install dates, cutover night. You get one thread, not five vendors.

  4. 04

    We stay on your account

Same team for moves, adds, tickets and the next renewal. That is the part everyone else drops.
