Cox Business is the business arm of the cable company Cox, providing internet, managed networking and security to companies in its service areas. Its foundation is its own network: business internet delivered over a DOCSIS 3.1 cable network that it says reaches business-grade Gig speeds across most of its footprint, with fiber-based optical internet for higher capacity. Because Cox owns the network in the regions it serves, it installs on site with local technicians and supports the service around the clock. On top of connectivity it layers managed SD-WAN, cybersecurity and private connections into public clouds, so a company in its footprint can buy the network and the services on it from one provider. For a buyer, Cox Business is a facilities-based provider strongest where its network reaches.

SD-WAN and SASE. Managed SD-Network, a cloud-managed SD-WAN that connects sites with reliability, security and central visibility without building the network yourself.

Managed Security. Essential Security provides multi-layered defense against ransomware, malware and phishing, and MalBlock adds DNS-layer filtering as a first line of defense.

Cloud and IaaS. CloudPort provides private, direct connections from a Cox-connected site into public cloud platforms, keeping that traffic off the open internet.
