Netrio is a managed services provider that runs network operations, security operations and Microsoft Teams calling for other organizations. Its sheets say it has supported clients since 2003 from network operations centers that are staffed at all hours and duplicated across locations.
Its argument is one provider for two jobs. Most companies, it says, hire one firm to run their IT and another to run their security, and the gaps between the two slow down incident response. Netrio does both. Its founders built the company on an outsourced network operations center more than 20 years ago, and it still sells that service to other providers. It says its processes follow ITIL for service management and NIST SP 800-171 for security controls, and that those two frameworks helped it earn SOC 2 Type II certification.
Best for
- Organizations paying separate IT and security providers that want one.
- Companies that want security leadership without hiring a full-time chief information security officer.
- IT teams and service providers that want to hand off the day-to-day watching of the network.
- Businesses on Microsoft Teams that want phone features inside it: auto attendant, conference bridge, direct numbers and outside calling.
- Companies that want calling, chat, email and text on one platform with a contact center built in.
- Organizations with equipment from many makers that want a support team that stays neutral across brands.
What they offer
Managed Security. Cyber Secure Plus, a bundle that covers devices, applications, networks, data and users: assessments, managed and extended detection and response, endpoint protection, a SIEM, a security operations center as a service, penetration testing, an emergency response retainer and a fractional security officer. Penetration testing is sold as automated, manual or ongoing, running from reconnaissance through reporting. The fractional officer service prepares clients for audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 and covers risk, policy, vendor management and training.
Cloud Phone Systems. Microsoft Teams Plus adds phone system features to Teams with a Teams-certified session border controller, porting of your existing numbers, user setup and monitoring at all hours. Unity is Netrio's own cloud communications platform for voice, chat, email and text, with integrations to CRM and ERP systems and to Teams.
Contact Center. Unity's contact center module: advanced call queuing, skills-based routing, silent, whisper and barge monitoring, drag-and-drop transfers, and wallboards you can customize.
Netrio also sells its network operations center as a service, and Enterprise Support Plus, a managed IT service covering endpoints, users, servers, firewalls, network gear and cloud environments on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
The catalog also lists Netrio under Business Connectivity, Cloud and IaaS and SD-WAN and SASE. The documents show its support service covering SD-WAN devices and public cloud environments. They describe no circuits, cloud hosting or SD-WAN service of Netrio's own.

Proof
- Netrio states SOC 2 Type II certification, with processes aligned to ITIL and NIST SP 800-171.
- Its network operations sheet counts more than 2,500,000 network alarms a month, over 5,000 inbound support calls, over 50,000 incidents, more than 100,000 supported IT assets and more than 50,000 managed circuits.
- It staffs three tiers of support across three shifts at three operations centers, describes its centers as based in the United States, and says Unity is backed by a dedicated support team at any hour.
These figures are Netrio's own. Its customer stories all name the customer, so none is used here.
Good to know
- One sheet counts two network operations centers running at once and another counts three operations centers. The documents were not updated together. Ask for the current number and where they are.
- Unity is built to work alongside Teams Plus, so a company can run Teams calling and Unity's contact center together.
- Netrio's own advice on penetration testing is to combine manual and automated testing and to test again after upgrades, new offices or new network equipment.
- Its sample onboarding plan, dated 2021, assigns a project manager, runs a network and security assessment, writes a runbook, documents expectations for the first 90 days and soft-launches support before full turnover.
- The product sheets carry no dates.

How buying works
The store is the easy part. Staying on the account is the job.
Anyone can show you logos. The reason to buy here is what happens on install night, and on the ticket you open nine months later.
- 01
Build your quote list
Add services and companies as you shop. No form stands between you and the shelf.
- 02
We bring back real options
A person shops the bench against your addresses, then walks you through what fits and what does not.
- 03
We handle the order and install
Paperwork, site survey, install dates, cutover night. You get one thread, not five vendors.
- 04
We stay on your account
Same team for moves, adds, tickets and the next renewal. That is the part everyone else drops.
